Why do you love the Classics?

I am fascinated by how the Classics have transcended both time and space by establishing perpetual influences all around the world that cannot be forgotten. The Classics are the foundations of our world, and I honestly believe it's a necessary study to learn more about ourselves.

Favorite Classical figure and why?

I love Sappho! I'm amazed by the way she was able to burst through the boundaries of her society and culture to uplift humanistic activity, especially poetry.

Fun Fact

I'm 4'11", so I'm often given a kids' menu at restaurants (sometimes even crayons!).
