Why do you love the Humanities?

The open and intersectional nature of the humanities has always been a highlight for me. Whether I'm discussing the gendered undertones of political philosophy or reading a novel, I can always trust that I'll both be interested and learn something new.

Who's your favorite Classical figure? Why?

Medusa, because despite the way her story is typically portrayed, I see her as a feminist figure. She's a wronged victim of sexual assault and a powerful woman with a gaze that can literally turn men to stone.

I haven't watched Finding Nemo, and I'm the tallest in my extended family (5' 10").
